Web sites currently in use
	landraker is an innovatively styled web site for an innovative landscape company. All of the pages of the web site are the same dimensions. Cirlces are used to navigate from one page to the next within each sub-section of the web site. This format is intended to eliminate the need for scrolling. A Macromedia Flash animation was also incorporated as a 'Splash Page'.
	Beat Niq is a local jazz club with a calendar of upcoming events at the club maintained on a monthly basis. A gallery of past performers including audio clip samples is also included. The web site captures the mood and feel of the club by incorporating the club colours and lighting that inspires first time clients to say "I've been here before" if they have visited the web stie. A guestbook and message board are also incorporated.
	Merit Kitchens incorporates Javascript for mouse-over effects. Perl is used for a 'dealer locator' and a 'dealer download' area that requires password access. Perl is also used for a customer feedback form.
Web sites for companies that have changed their web sites
	Digital Matter is a basic HTML web site that also incorporated a client login so that the client could see their web site under development. A Visual Basic program was also used to facilitate changing of text on a ticker tape.
	Calgary International Organ Foundation hosts an anual organ competition. The web site is not a complex site on first glance although the inner workings of the site are quite intricate. The administrative backend allows the owner to add pages to the site by selecting one of 8 templates and entering content without needing to know any HTML. Images can be selected for any page as well. There are over 120 pages in this web site in a page hierarchy. Any page, once it has been saved, can be moved to any location within the hierarchy. The navigational links can also be changed to link to any page within the web site.
	University of Calgary Dinos this site incorporated the use of frames with stunning graphics. Javascript was used to implement an animation showing an array of different sports photos. A Visual Basic program was also used to facilitate the changing of the text on the ticker tape. The use of frames allowed team representatives to easily update team pages without affecting layout of the pages.

	Mobilized Communications is a local cell phone retailer that included a Javascript function for calculating the best calling plan to meet users requirements based on monthly estimated usage. A monthly maintenance package was also implemented to update specials.
	Soma Cycle A basic HTML web site showing product lines. A monthly maintenance schedule was implemented to monthly post tips and group rides. A Visual Basic program was also used to facilitate changing of text on a ticker tape.
	Club KO this web site was updated semi-annually with new product lines. The general public was able to view catalogue. Representatives were able to log in and see shipping and ordering information. A weekly message board was incorporated using Perl. The message board archives were also always available. A chat room was also set up so that representatives could discuss ideas in an open forum.
